A tribunal appointed manager is a less commonly known remedy for leaseholders living in a building that suffers from mismanagement.
The process involves a thorough review of the history of the management, the lease and the preparation of a water tight case against the freeholder. If we can prove negligence to the FTT, the judge can appoint a professional property manager for a number of years, completely removing the freeholder from decision making with regards to service charges, management and maintenance.
This is a formal Tribunal process, and as such you will want a solicitor who has a history of succeeding with these claims, such as Peppercorn Law's Brighton based solicitor Ricky Coleman, who has a 100% success rate with these applications.
We are able to offer a fixed fee starting at 2500 (no VAT) for the smallest buildings, but will confirm this with you once we understand the extent of the case
